Image Trans DCL-C (Copier) Guide

Recommended Applications

White or light colored fabrics including 100% cotton, polyester or poly/cotton blends,
mousepads, coasters, cardstock and fabric puzzles, binders, cotton rag paper, leather, cork and
wood.

Printing Equipment

Image Trans CL Non Oil - Copier works in Non-Oil Color Laser Copiers and Printers that are able to run 11 x 17 and A3 size paper.

Printing

• Fan paper to separate
• Feed transfer paper from bypass tray — long edge leading (single or multi sheet).
• Copy/Print on the coated side of the transfer paper.
• Reduce toner levels by approximately 20%.
• Copy/Print Mirror Image.
• Image Trans CL Non Oil - Copier was developed to run in Plain Paper Mode. Some copiers/printers may require paper to be run in Heavy Stock Mode.
• Do not use sorter as exit tray, if applicable.

Transfer with Heat Press

• Trim away the unprinted paper around your image with scissors/exacto knife.
• Position the imaged sheet with printed side face down.
• Press at 350°F (175°C) using heavy pressure for 30 seconds.
• Peel the backing paper off, slowly while warm.

Washing Instructions

• Always turn textile inside out before washing.
• Recommended: Machine wash in cold water.
  Optional: Machine wash in warm water (40°C).
• Use mild detergent. Do not use harsh or bleaching materials.
• Recommended: Hang dry
  Optional: Tumble dry with cool or warm air setting. Do not use fabric softeners.
• After washing we recommend turning shirt inside out and ironing the image from the back.
