Image Trans CL Guide

General Use

Recommended for use on White and Light coloured fabrics in 100% Cotton or Poly/Cotton Blends, Mousemats, Coasters,Cardstock, Fabric puzzles, Binders, Cotton Rag, Paper Leather, Cork and Wood.

Printing Equipment

Produces excellent results on a variety of fabrics, Allows you to transfer your images to fabric in seconds. Compatible with a wide range of Colour Laser Copiers and Printers, NB: Generally not compatible with Non Oil Printers. Please ring for advice Tel 01702 600200 Fax 01702 600201 .

Copying / Printing

• FAN paper to separate.
• Place CL paper in cassette tray or bypass tray, positioned to copy/print on coated side
• Copy / print using the mirror image function in plain paper/standard copy mode.
  NB: For dark originals reduce toner levels and lighten exposure level for a more accurate image.
  For Clear areas use background elimination function or designate no-colour.

Transfer with Heat Press

Image Trans CL must be applied with a heatpress, application with a hand iron is not recommended.
Pressure settings: Application pressure plays an important role in the transfer process. High application pressure will ensure a complete transfer and improve the durability of the imaged item. Pressure setting may vary due to application but in general the higher the better.

Application Instructions

T-Shirts

• Set Heatpress to 190*C and maximum pressure.
• Trim un-imaged area of transfer paper.
• Place T-shirt on lower platen and pre-heat for 5 seconds to eliminate creases and moisture.
• Place transfer in desired position on the garment with image face down.
• Press for 15 seconds.
• Peel paper while hot.

Sweatshirts & Tote Bags

• Set Heatpress to 190*C and maximum pressure.
• Trim un-imaged area of transfer paper.
• Place T-shirt on lower platen and pre-heat for 5 seconds to eliminate creases and moisture.
• Place transfer in desired position on the garment with image face down.
• Press for 20 seconds, open heat press and rub for 15 seconds. Peel paper while hot.

Mousemats & Coasters

• Set Heatpress to 190*C and medium pressure.
• Allow image to bleed over the edge of substrate
• Place substrate on lower platen.
• (If using a full bleed image be sure to cover the lower platen to avoid transfer residue)
• Place transfer in desired position on the garment with image face down.
• Press for 5 – 7 seconds, wait 5 seconds then Peel hot.

Washing Instructions

• Turn garment inside out and machine wash in cool or warm water
• Do not use Bleach or Fabric Softener
• Detergents with Bleach additives are not recommended.
• Do Not Tumble Dry. Do Not Dry Clean. Do Not iron directly on image,
• We recommend turning your shirt inside out and iron the image from the back
